With a highly positive balance sheet and a solid agenda of trade agreements, Venezuela completed its outstanding participation in the 2026 edition of the International Frozen Seafood Fair (CONXEMAR), Venezolana de Televisión reported on its website.

During the event, the stand of the national pavilion became a key commercial epicenter, where 212 B2B business meetings were held between national and international companies. This resulted in the signing of important letters of intent for the export of species such as shrimp, lobsters and seaweed.

The agreements include a subscription between the Venezuelan company Tide and the international CEAMSA for the export of 100 tons of seaweed per month to Vigo, Spain.

Also highlighted was the agreement between the Venezuelan company Suministros MF and the international company Refrigerados Fisiholg and Hijos A.C., for the purchase of 25 tons of squid pot from Peru destined for the Venezuelan market.

On the other hand, a strategic agreement was concluded between the Ministry of Fisheries and Aquaculture, national businessmen and the Spanish firm PH7, aimed at incorporating technological solutions in the processing of hydrobiological products to ensure that the Venezuelan Export Offer meets the highest international quality standards.

It also highlights key exchanges with the shipping company Stella Shipping to evaluate a new maritime trade route connecting Venezuela with Vigo, Rotterdam and Russia.

In addition, talks were held with the Port of Vilagarcía and the shipping company Boluda in order to study the opening of a direct route between Venezuela and Northern Europe.

With these results, Venezuela reaffirms its commitment to the economic development of the fishing and aquaculture sector, opening new business horizons and consolidating its presence in the main showcases of the global market.
