The Venezuelan national team remains undefeated after 4 appearances in the FIBA U-17 South American Championship, beating Brazil's quintet 67-52 and will seek the championship title of the tournament in Paraguay this Sunday.

The girls in blue uniforms showing that they are serious contenders for the title with victories against Brazil, Colombia, Paraguay and Chile so they will wait for their rival for the final match that will be played at the UENO COP Arena in Asunción.

The competition brings together South America's best Under-17 national teams and will award three qualifying places for the FIBA U-18 Women's AmeriCup 2026.

Brazil is the reigning champion of the last edition of the tournament, held in 2023 in Colombia. The Colombian national team and Argentina completed the podium with silver and bronze medals.
