The Venezuelan under-15 baseball team has already defined their representatives who will compete from September 28 to 4 in the Barquisimeto Pan American Championship.
The list of 20 players confirmed by the Venezuelan Baseball Federation (FVB) includes outfielders Samuel Zicada, Ángel Rodríguez, Enmanuel Mogollón and Aarón García; infielders Nicolás Quintero, Israel Carpio, Ángel Rondón, Albert Hernández; and receivers Adrián Crespo and Andrés Montilla.
The team is completed by pitchers Diego Patiño, Jorge Campos, Kerglyn Navarro, Ángel Rojas, Wileiker Sánchez, Luis Manuel García, Jaiverson Moreno, Enmanuel Pérez, David Palomo and Luis Ignacio García
As far as the coaching staff is concerned, manager Guillermo Quintero will be accompanied by coaches Daniel Pérez, Yasmil Urbina, Carlos Hernández, Brahian Salom and Ibrahin Pirela, together with trainer Teodoro Oviedo and delegate Henrrys Gutiérrez, the FVB detailed on its web portal.
The Pan-American youth baseball game will be staged at the Daniel “Chino” Canonico and Antonio Herrera Gutierrez stadiums in Barquisimeto and will feature the participation of representatives from Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and the host Venezuela.
The last time the Pan-American U15 was held in Venezuela was in 2022, when it was played in Valencia and the locals raised the trophy.
This time, Venezuelans will have the challenge of keeping the crown to secure their World Ticket for the category to be contested next year.
