This Friday, April 11, the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, reported that on the occasion of the economic war of the President of the United States, Donald Trump, against oil companies, the company CHEVRON returned shipments of crude oil to Petrleos de Venezuela (PDVSA), given the impossibility and restrictions that have been imposed on it to pay them to the nation.
On his account on the social network Telegram, Rodríguez said that “because of the economic war initiated by the U.S. government against oil companies, CHEVRON has returned shipments of crude oil to PDVSA, given the impossibility and restrictions that have been imposed on it to pay them to Venezuela.”
In this regard, he said that “this crude oil is being traded in international markets.”
“PDVSA will respect the contractual terms and obligations agreed with transnational corporations. In Venezuela there are laws, and they are respected,” he emphasized.
The vice president said: “The United States will not prevent our country from working and moving forward! Venezuela will win!”
