Venezuela established strategic agreements with Qatar at the VIII World Fisheries Forum Russia 2025

This Thursday, October 23, during the VIII World Fisheries Forum and Seafood Exhibition Russia 2025, authorities from the Venezuelan Ministry of People's Power for Fisheries and Aquaculture, made agreements with the director of the Department of Fishery Wealth of Qatar, Abdulaziz Mohammed Al-Dehaimi.

The main objective of this meeting was to define a road map for the commercialization of seafood.

In information released by the ministerial body, during the meeting, a commitment was established to work together between the technical teams of both countries.

This effort seeks to promote the commercialization of fishery and aquaculture products, as well as the signing of a cooperation agreement in the field of fishing, aquaculture and related activities.

On the other hand, in another message, he noted that the Venezuelan delegation also met with the deputy head of the Federal Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision Service, Konstantin Savenkov, to discuss the signing of the sanitary protocol between the two nations.

It specifies that this protocol is in the final stage for approval and is expected to be signed in the city of Sochi, Russia next November, during the meeting of the Russia-Venezuela High-Level Intergovernmental Commission (CIAN).

The authorities of both countries agreed to take appropriate steps to grant permits that allow more Venezuelan companies that meet international standards to bring their export-quality products to the Russian Federation.

Venezuela continues to make progress in the search for new commercial alliances that will allow it to continue strengthening its economy.
