Venezuela expresses condolences for more than 300 deaths after Typhoon Yagi in Vietnam

In a statement, released by Foreign Minister Yván Gil, this Wednesday Venezuela expressed its condolences for the more than 300 deaths following the passage of Typhoon Yagi, which caused devastating floods and landslides in Vietnam.

The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela expresses its deepest feelings of condolence for the unfortunate death of more than 300 people, as well as the loss of valuable infrastructure and landslides due to the devastating floods that have hit the northeastern provinces of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, including Cao Bang Yen Bai and Lao Cai, as a result of the passage of typhoon Yagi.

The Bolivarian Government of Venezuela wishes to convey to the families and friends of the victims its words of support in such an unfortunate event; likewise expressing our deep admiration for the courage and heroism of the rescue teams and of all those who are working tirelessly to help the people affected.
