The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela expresses its deep concern about the recent attacks of April 25, 2026 in the Republic of Mali, which affected military positions and urban centers.

In a statement published by the Minister of People's Power for Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil, he reaffirmed his historic position of absolute rejection of terrorism in all its forms, stressing the importance of preserving political and social stability in Mali.

The following is the full text of the statement:

“The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela expresses its deep concern about the recent attacks of April 25, 2026 in the Republic of Mali, which affected military positions and urban centers.

Venezuela condemns these acts of terrorist violence, which endanger peace, political and social stability, and the integrity of the civilian population.

It conveys its condolences to the victims and reaffirms its support for the Government and the People of Mali, as well as its recognition of the security forces in their legitimate work to defend and combat terrorism.

Venezuela reaffirms its respect for the sovereignty and territorial unity of the sister Republic of Mali and reiterates its commitment to collaborate in multilateral spaces to promote peace and stability in the region.”
