Venezuela greets Nicaragua for the 41st anniversary of the victory of the Sandinista National Liberation Front

El foreign minister, Yván Gil, on behalf of the president, Nicolás Maduro, congratulated the Government and people of Nicaragua on the 41st anniversary of the victory of the Sandinista National Liberation Front (FSLN)
A through his Telegram channel , Gil pointed out that “this triumph marked the beginning of a new phase of sovereignty, development and peace, after the overthrow of the Somoza dictatorship, which today the Nicaraguan people continue to go through while building their own destiny.”
Asimismo, pointed out that Venezuela and Nicaragua share deep ties of friendship and struggle, which we honor today and always, in pursuit of a shared and sovereign future for our peoples.
