Venezuela has two gold medals in kata at the 2024 Sucre Bolivarian Youth Games

Diana Oligino won the gold in the women's individual kata test when she performed a chatanyara kusanku, which scored 24.00.

For his part, Gianluca Greco, 15, excelled in the men's category. The karateka performed the kata kishimono in the grand final and obtained a score of 24.00 that brought him to the top of the podium.
