Venezuela joins the celebration for the 181st anniversary of the independence of the Dominican Republic

The People and Government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela join this Thursday in the celebration for the 181st anniversary of the independence of the Dominican Republic.
In a message posted on his social networks, Foreign Minister Yván Gil said that "Venezuela extends its sincerest congratulations to the people of the Dominican Republic" on “a date that celebrates and reaffirms the sovereignty of the Dominican people”.
“We will always be in solidarity with their fight against imperialism, defending their homeland and their identity,” added the Venezuelan diplomat to commemorate the historic date.
