The Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) noted in its most recent report that Venezuela leads the list of Latin American countries with the best economic performance for the second consecutive year, with growth of 8.5% during 2025.
According to the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, this achievement is possible thanks to the dedication of workers, businessmen, entrepreneurs, farmers, fishermen, and community members.
In this regard, he stressed that all sectors of the economy of the Bolivarian nation are cohesive “with an unwavering determination not to succumb to the savage economic blockade of the United States and its satellites. In 2026 we will remain victorious!” , he emphasized on his Telegram channel.
In 2024, ECLAC projected a 6.2% growth in gross domestic product (GDP) for Venezuela, based on the revival of Economic Engines, despite the unilateral coercive measures imposed by the United States (USA).
