Venezuela makes debut against Qatar in the U-17 Men's Volleyball World Cup

The men's national under-17 volleyball team will debut in the World Championship in its category against Qatar, the sixth host of the tournament that will take place until August 29 in the Persian Gulf Peninsula.

The Venezuelan national team is part of Group (A) together with Qatar, Tunisia and France in the first phase, from which the 16 teams with the best records will advance to the round of 16. His second challenge will be against Tunisia, on Saturday, August 22, and he will close the group stage on Monday, August 24 against France, according to the specialized press.

Venezuela's squad is led by Diego Osorio, named most valuable player in the Pan American Cup. He was second in the attack by punt Benjamín García, who was awarded the best attacker in the tournament because of his jumping ability and shooting power to break triple blocks.
