Venezuela-Malaysia Parliamentary Friendship Group installed in Caracas

During an activity held at the Casa Amarilla Antonio José de Sucre, in Caracas, the Venezuela-Malaysia Parliamentary Friendship Group was installed to promote and consolidate relations between the two countries, in addition to strengthening the ties of cooperation and solidarity between parliamentarians and parliamentarians.

The president of the instance, deputy to the National Assembly (AN), José Gregorio Colmenares, pointed out that the members of the Friendship Group reflect the highest political expression of the will of the citizens of each of the nations.

“We are excited to have this Parliamentary Friendship Group in which we will develop a program of action so that we can make known our culture, economy, knowledge and, above all, our truth. From here we will make known the reality of our Homeland,” said the legislator.

Diplomatic relations between Venezuela and Malaysia were established on December 18, 1986 and were deepened with the signing of 23 legal instruments, according to a press release.
