Venezuela mourns the death of spiritual guide of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

Foreign Minister Yván Gil published a mourning note in which the Government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela expresses its deepest condolences for the death of His Eminence Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Abdullah bin Mohammed Al AlSheikh, Grand Mufti of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The Venezuelan diplomat acknowledged that this leader dedicated his life to the study and spiritual guidance of his people.

“Venezuela recognizes his outstanding work as a religious and academic leader, as well as his contribution to the understanding and preservation of the values of Islam in the world. At this time of regret, we extend our solidarity to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to his family and to the Saudi people,” the diplomat wrote on his Telegram account.
