Venezuela optimized trade cooperation with Trinidad and Tobago

The Minister of People's Power for Foreign Trade, Coromoto Godoy, held a meeting with the ambassador of Trinidad and Tobago in Venezuela, Edmund Dillon, with the objective of reviewing and optimizing the current trade agreement between the two nations.
According to information from Venezolana de Televisión, during the meeting, various issues were addressed, including the tariff to promote more dynamic and mutually beneficial trade.
Through the ministry's account on the social network Instagram, the importance of these meetings was highlighted, and it was emphasized that the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, values the independent and friendly relationship between the two countries, and considered a model of cooperation and international peace.
Venezuela and Trinidad and Tobago have maintained formal diplomatic relations since 1986, which have succeeded in establishing significant agreements that reinforce Bolivarian Peace Diplomacy. These agreements are based on principles of cooperation, complementarity, solidarity and respect for international law.
