Venezuela paid homage to Pope Francis with funeral mass at Teresa Carreño

In order to express its gratitude and to say a final goodbye
to the supreme pontiff, Venezuela paid homage to Pope Francis with an
funeral mass in the spaces of the Teresa Carreño Theater, in Caracas.
The ceremony brought together church representatives, national
authorities and hundreds of faithful who came to express their
respect and gratitude to the figure of the Holy Father, a Venezuelan Television (VTV) review.
The religious event highlighted the legacy of humility, justice and
service that has characterized the pontificate of Pope Francis. In addition,
the gratitude of the People of Venezuela was expressed for having achieved the canonization of Dr. José
Gregorio Hernández and Mother Carmen Rendiles.
Also, during the mass, prayers and
reflections were offered on their impact on the Christian community and on the world,
highlighting their commitment to those most in need and their message of hope for humanity.
The ceremony was a space of union for believers who, from different parts of the country, gathered to pay tribute to the pontiff. Sacred music and the words of the religious leaders accompanied the homage, which is part of a deep sense of respect and admiration for their pastoral work.
