Venezuela participates in GRULAC meeting in India to ratify mutual cooperation

The Group of Heads of Mission of Latin America and the Caribbean (GRULAC) accredited in India held their first meeting in 2025, at which they ratified the joint cooperation of the countries of the region.

During the meeting, Latin American and Caribbean diplomats warmly welcomed Juan Carlos Marsán Aguilera and Alonso Correa, newly appointed ambassadors of the Republic of Cuba and the Republic of Panama, respectively.

In this regard, the Venezuelan ambassador in New Delhi, Capaya Rodríguez, expressed her willingness to cooperate in solidarity with the new heads of mission in everything within their reach, as agreed by the other ambassadors and business managers present, according to a press release from the Foreign Ministry.

The heads of mission of Cuba and Panama appreciated the words of the Venezuelan diplomat and other of their colleagues who expressed themselves in the same vein.

The members of GRULAC took advantage of the first meeting of the year to review the pending issues on the agenda raised by the bodies of the Indian Government, which includes political meetings, trade fairs and cultural activities in which the countries of the region hope to actively participate, as well as possible proposals by the group.
