Venezuela participates in the Ibero-American Conference of Ministers of Tourism

The Minister of Popular Power for Tourism, Leticia Gómez, reported that she is participating in the XIII Ibero-American Conference of Ministers of Tourism (CIMET), which takes place at the Parador de Alcalá de Henares in Madrid, Spain.
Through his account on the social
network Instagram, he stressed that the conference is focused on the theme
of environmental sustainability, a fundamental pillar for the development of Ibero-American tourism.
He also indicated that
this space will address social sustainability and living culture, elements
that are considered essential to offer integral development to
communities and highlight the authenticity of our peoples.
“Venezuela is present in
this space for high-level dialogue to strengthen cooperation and advance
a common agenda that benefits our peoples,” said Gómez, who is
accompanied by the ambassador to Spain
in Venezuela, Gladys Gutiérrez.
The event was kicked off by the Spanish Ministry of Industry and Tourism and the Ibero-American Secretary General, Andrés Allamand, who welcomed the participating delegations.
