Venezuela participates in the XIII Ibero-American Conference of Ministers of Tourism in Spain

The Minister of Popular Power for Tourism, Leticia Gómez, together with the Venezuelan ambassador to Spain, Gladys Gutiérrez, participates in the XIII Ibero-American Conference of Ministers of Tourism, which takes place at the Parador de Alcalá de Henares, in Madrid.
The Venezuelan delegation is present in this space of dialogue, to strengthen cooperation and advance a common agenda that benefits peoples.
The official opening of the conference was led by the Secretary of State for Tourism, Rosario Sánchez Grau and the Ibero-American Secretary General, Andrés Allamand, who highlighted the importance of this platform for debate, which allows for progress in projects that favor the global economy and emerging markets.
The head of national tourism thanked the national government for the invitation, which reaffirms the commitment to sustainable and sustainable tourism.
Gómez explained that these meetings promote the development of the sector through human talent, social and digital transformation, based on environmental, social and economic pillars. “This can only be based on respect for the sovereignty of Peoples,” he said.
It also reaffirmed the commitment of the National Executive, to a tourism model that transcends the commercial aspect to turn it into an inclusive and community activity.
In this context, Gómez highlighted that the Venezuela product provides a multi-destination offer that merges experience and investment opportunities.
As a prelude to the Spanish International Tourism Fair, which will be held from 21 to 25 January, the representation of the Ministry of Tourism reinforces the diplomacy of peace and union to continue diversifying integral and patrimonial development.
