The
Ombudsman, Alfredo Ruiz, participated in the annual meeting of the Network
of National Institutions for the Promotion and Protection of
Human Rights in the American Continent (RINDHCA), and in the
International Seminar-Workshop on Access to Justice in Environmental Matters, held
in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia.
The event consisted of two days of intense work, during which issues of human rights, environmental rights and migration were discussed. The Annual Meeting of the Network of Human Rights Institutions of Latin America and the Caribbean (RINDHCA) concluded.
During his speech, the Ombudsman emphasized the importance of this event, which seeks to highlight the work carried out by the Ombudsmen's Offices in the American continent.
In addition, he highlighted the importance of working groups and organizations that work for the preservation of the environment. Ruiz highlighted the work being done around the world to ensure a healthy environment for people and Mother Earth.
