Venezuela presented the 14 players called up for the 2026 Futsal Cup America

The national coach, Robinson Romero, made official the list of 14 players who will represent the country in the Conmebol Copa América, which will be held in Luque, Paraguay, from January 24 to February 1.

The list includes the goalkeepers: Robert Pérez and José Villalobos, the forwards: Michael Gelvez, Víctor Carreño, Jesús Viamonte, Carlos Vento, Kevin Briceño, Allen Viloria, Brayan Sandoval and Rickson Argüello, the liberals: Gleydelvid Terán, Rafael Morillo, Saimond Francia, and the center player, Óscar Fernández.

The national team traveled to Paraguay to then face their first match against Colombia on Sunday, January 25 at 1:00 p.m.

Vinotinto was paired in Group B of the Cup and will face their peers from, in addition to Colombia, Brazil, Chile, and Bolivia.

This tournament will qualify the four best teams to the 2028 Futsal World Cup, which has not yet defined its venue.
