Venezuela presents Plan of the Seven Transformations to Belize

The ambassadors agreed on the importance of aligning bilateral cooperation with the objectives set by President Maduro.

The ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Gerardo Argote, received this Thursday, at the headquarters of the Diplomatic Mission in Belmopán, his Belizean counterpart, Lou Ann Burns, who serves as Ambassador of Belize resident in the Republic of Cuba and concurrent with the South American country.

The purpose of the meeting was to review the state of the bilateral relationship and outline the agenda and bilateral work plan for the year 2025. In addition to talking about regional events and receiving impressions from the Ambassador, who was in Venezuela representing her country and as special envoy of the Prime Minister of Belize, John Briceño, during the inauguration of the re-elected President Nicolás Maduro Moros.

Both diplomats analyzed actions to contribute to the strengthening of political relations and to define a map of possibilities based on the Plan of the 7 Transformations, recently presented by the President of the Republic.

The ambassadors agreed on the importance of aligning bilateral cooperation with the objectives set out by President Maduro in the Plan of the Seven Transformations, so that they contribute to the development of the potential and capacities of both countries and that they result in direct benefit to the peoples of Venezuela and Belize.
