The Minister of Popular Power for Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil, met this Friday with the resident coordinator of the United Nations (UN) in Venezuela, Gianluca Rampolla, with the objective of continuing to strengthen the shared vision of contributing to sovereign development and social welfare in the nation.
“We are committed to continuing to advance this collaboration, always placing the people as the central axis and protagonist of their own reality and improvement,” wrote the Chancellor in his account on the social network X.
During his speech at the end of last February, at the High-Level Segment of the 55th session of the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva, Gil reaffirmed the full willingness of the Government of Venezuela to continue collaborating with a Universal System of the United Nations that is truly based on genuine dialogue and cooperation, without selectivity and in strict adherence to the principles of respect for sovereignty and non-interference in the internal affairs of States.
