Venezuela reaffirms strategic alliance at CIFIT 2025

The Minister of the People's Power of Foreign Trade, Coromoto Godoy, led the Venezuelan delegation that participated in the inauguration of the China International Services Trade Fair (CIFTIS) 2025, which is being held in Beijing, China, a space that connects international cooperation for investment and trade in services.

During the opening day, Minister Godoy greeted the Vice Prime Minister of China, Ding Xuexiang, to whom she conveyed Venezuela's commitment to the decision of President Nicolás Maduro to join the Global Governance Initiative, proposed by President Xi Jinping.

At the opening gala, China's Minister of Commerce, Wang Wentao, highlighted the growing importance of trade in services in the global economy. For his part, President Xi Jinping sent a message stressing his country's commitment to strengthening cooperation in this sector.

The Venezuelan delegation is also composed of the Deputy Minister of International Trade Policy and National Superintendent of Special Economic Zones, Johann Álvarez.

Venezuela 's participation in CIFTIS 2025 reaffirms the All-Time Trial Alliance between the two countries, making progress in consolidating trade relations and mutual cooperation, according to a press release from the Ministry of Foreign Trade.
