Venezuela received vaccines from the Dominican Republic in the face of emergency

This weekend, Venezuelan health authorities received a shipment from the Ministry of Health of the Dominican Republic containing 1,749 vaccines.

This was reported by the Ministry of People's Power for Relations and Foreign Trade, through a press release detailing that among biological agents, pentavalent hepatitis B and polio stand out. A shipment with syringes, medicines and biosafety boxes also arrived.

In addition, masks for oxygen, non-perishable food and baby food were received. The delivery was given by the Minister of Health of the Dominican Republic, Victor Atallah.

Atallah, who made his second trip to the country from Santo Domingo, highlighted the ties between the two nations and noted that his mission has served more than 2,500 people. “We are going to continue helping Venezuela, our nations are sisters; we have bonds of friendship that are maintained, the Venezuelan people are in our prayers,” he said.
