Venezuela today regrets that the children of Bethlehem, Gaza and all of Palestine are being killed or are living under the threat of extermination by a genocidal person who, like Herod, has the support of a decadent empire.

Through a message published by the Minister of People's Power for Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil, this December 28 in commemoration of the Day of the Holy Innocents, recalled that this date commemorates Herod's deadly attempt to kill the child Jesus, and he ordered the murder of every child under two years of age in Bethlehem and its surroundings.

Gil emphasized that the Venezuelan people hail for the right of boys and girls to a life free from abuse, violence and war and to a full life, in which they can function joyfully and sustain the hope of a new world filled with the greatest possible prosperity and happiness.
