The Bolivarian Government of Venezuela, headed by President Nicolás Maduro, published a letter addressed to the Secretary General of the United Nations (UN), António Guterres, in which it denounces for the third time the biased comments of the spokesman of the multilateral organization referring to the armed aggression of which he is a victim by the United States government.

“In these comments, the United States and Venezuela are unfairly equated as equal parties in a call to de-escalate tensions, when in reality they are not simply tensions. The U.S. administration acts as an aggressor, militarizing the Caribbean region and carrying out extrajudicial actions while threatening the Venezuelan people,” Foreign Minister Yván Gil said in his Telegram account.

The comment is accompanied by a video where the permanent representative of Venezuela to the UN, Ambassador Samuel Moncada, reaffirms his commitment to Bolivarian Diplomacy of Peace and his legitimate right to defend his sovereignty and truth.
