Venezuela rejects and protests the warmongering intentions of the Caribbean Zelensky, the president of the Cooperative Republic of Guyana, Irfaan Ali.

Through a post on her Telegram channel, the Executive Vice President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, assured that Guyana threatens Venezuela with its creative parents. “The United Kingdom and the United States are the architects of the territorial dispossession of our Guiana Essequiba,” he said.

He emphasized that they are the same actors who in 1899 forged a fraudulent award to dispossess Venezuela.

In that regard, he alerted the region to these warmongering drums, in clear contravention of the Declaration of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC), as a zone of peace.

“Venezuela will be firm in defending its legitimate rights, sovereignty and territorial integrity, in all scenarios that arise. The Venezuelan sun rises in the Essequibo!” , he said.

The Government of Guyana reported this Saturday that the Guyana Defense Force (GDF) and the Ministry of Defense of the United Kingdom signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on defense matters between the former British colony and the Anglo-Saxon country.

This action represents a clear provocation that seeks to alter peace in the region and generate a conflict.
