Venezuela Renace intervenes 265 homes affected by earthquakes in Falcón

The Venezuela Renace Plan began the intervention of 265 homes affected by earthquakes in the Boca de Aroa parish, Silva municipality of Falcón state.

The Ministry of Public Works, as reported by the Venezuelan News Agency (AVN), indicated that, in order to manage aid and classify damage, the traffic light methodology is applied in the affected area.

This technique makes it possible to evaluate the structural damage to each building and determine its level of habitability, which facilitates the organization of brigades and the allocation of resources.

In this regard, these 265 homes received the yellow level and are the subject of priority attention. These houses have minor structural and non-structural damage, the entity said. To repair them, seven specialized construction brigades work on the buildings.

El Falcón, another 305 homes were rated green, so they can be habitable and have no damage that represents a risk to their occupants
