The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela requested an urgent meeting of the Security Council of the United Nations (UN) this Saturday in the face of military attacks by the United States (US) against the country.
“Faced with the criminal aggression committed by the U.S. government against the Homeland, we have requested an urgent meeting of the United Nations Security Council, responsible for enforcing international law. No cowardly attack can be done with the force of this people who will be victorious,” said Foreign Minister Yván Gil, sharing the request signed by the permanent representative of Venezuela to the UN, Samuel Moncada.
