The Venezuelan under-20 soccer team beat Uruguay on the fifth and final day of the South American U-20 tournament that is taking place in Barquisimeto.

At the Estadio Metropolitano de Lara, the attendees of this South American tournament witnessed Vinotinto's tight victory against the Charrúas 1x0.

Group A finished with Uruguay at the top with 9 points, accompanied by Paraguay with equal units and Chile would be the third ranked team with 6 points. For its part, Venezuela finished in fourth and last position with six.
