Venezuela signed energy agreements to advance the Loran gas project

This Thursday, August 13, the Bolivarian Republic of
Venezuela signed energy agreements with
British Petroleum; XRG, from the United Arab Emirates; and UCC, from Qatar; to
advance the development of the second phase of the Loran Gas Field.
The signing of these agreements
was led by the president in charge, Delcy Rodríguez, together with the Minister
of Popular Power for Hydrocarbons, Paula Henao; and the president of PDVSA
Gas, Javier Viloria, at the Miraflores Palace.
The process is part of the actions aimed at promoting the development of the gas resources of the Deltana Platform and strengthening business participation in projects for the exploration and exploitation of non-associated gaseous hydrocarbons.
