Venezuela strengthens cooperation ties with the International Red Cross

The Foreign Minister of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Yván Gil, held a cordial meeting with Mirjana Spoljaric Egger, principal representative of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) to the United Nations, to strengthen the framework of cooperation between the ICRC and the Bolivarian Government.

The Venezuelan diplomat specified through his account on the social network Telegram “that these agreements are focused on objectives that promote social welfare and community empowerment, always respecting popular self-government and leadership and national sovereignty.”
