Venezuela strengthens relations with the Communist Party of China

At the headquarters of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), in Beijing, a working meeting was held between the ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela accredited to this country, Remigio Ceballos Ichaso, and Liu Jianchao, minister of the International Department of the Central Committee of the governing political organization.

Ambassador Ceballos conveyed, on behalf of President Nicolás Maduro Moros, his most cordial greetings and wish for a successful celebration at the next third session of the XIV People's Political Consultative Conference of China (CCPCH) and at the third session of the XIV National People's Assembly (APN).

In an atmosphere of cordiality, both sides evaluated the development of the bilateral relationship between Venezuela and China, as well as the excellent cooperative relations between the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) and the CCP.

The occasion was propitious to share with Minister Liu Jianchao, the recent policies implemented by President Maduro to advance the Seven Transformations, the reform of the Constitution, and the upcoming legislative and regional elections, among other issues of mutual interest.

Finally, both parties committed themselves to strengthening relations of friendship and cooperation.
