Venezuela strengthens trade cooperation with Russia and Algeria

The Minister of the People's Power of Foreign Trade, Coromoto Godoy, held a meeting with the senior vice president of the Russia-Venezuela Binational Bank (Evrofinance Mosnarbank), Andrei Prikhodko, with whom she reviewed possible areas of cooperation in commercial matters.
During the meeting, work was done to boost cooperation flows with Russian banks, promoting an export vocation and investment for the benefit of both peoples; making the Russia-Venezuela Strategic Partnership provide a concrete route to advance in the consolidation of projects with a tangible impact.
In addition, Godoy met with the Ambassador of the Democratic and Popular Republic of Algeria in Venezuela, Farouk Benmokhtar, where they reviewed the commitments made in the commercial sphere, during the V Venezuela-Algeria Joint Commission, held in Algiers on July 2 and 3.
On the other hand, together with Deputy Minister Johann Álvarez, he held a working table with representatives of the national productive sector. The meeting was attended by the Venezuelan Confederation of Industrialists (Conindustria), the Venezuelan Textile Chamber, the Association of Metallurgical and Mining Industrialists (AIMM), the Venezuelan Footwear Chamber (Cavecal), the Chamber of Venezuelan Manufacturers of Automotive Products (Favenpa), the Venezuelan Chamber of the Alcoholic Species Industry (Civea) and Cavecol.
During the activity, proposals aimed at strengthening the international trade policy being carried out by Venezuela were exchanged.
