Venezuela thanks China for its defense of the UN Charter and the sovereignty of the Peoples

The Bolivarian Government, on behalf of the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, expresses its gratitude for the statement of the People's Republic of China in defense of respect for the Charter of the United Nations and for the sovereignty of Peoples.

This was stated by the Foreign Minister of the Republic, Yván Gil, in his account on the social network Telegram, where he also stated that “this support is especially significant in a context where external interference and imperialist threats against Venezuela and the entire region of Latin America and the Caribbean are intensifying.”

“Our people, in a solid civic-military-police union, reaffirms their firm commitment to peace and the defense of their sovereignty,” he emphasized.
