Venezuela thanks Colombian senator Gloria Flores for rejecting threats against peace in the region

Venezuela is grateful for the statement made by Colombian senator Gloria Flores in rejection of threats against peace in the region by North American imperialism.

The Foreign Minister of the Republic, Yván Gil, published on his account on the social network Telegram, the statement issued by Senator Flores.

In the message, Gil points out that “on behalf of President Nicolás Maduro, we are grateful for the statement made by Gloria Flores, senator of the Republic of Colombia, in rejection of threats and aggressions directed against peace in the region.”

“Our America stands up to defend our region as a zone of peace free from interference and imperialism,” he emphasized.

In his writing, Flores highlights: “Today more than ever, the world must raise its voice and firmly reject the threat of military intervention that looms against the sister Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and over all of Latin America and the Caribbean.”
