Venezuela thanks Cuba for denouncing the vile actions of the U.S. Secretary of State against Venezuela

The Venezuelan government appreciated the complaints issued by the Foreign Minister of the Republic of Cuba in which he rejects the strategy of the United States Secretary of State who, with false arguments, seeks to divert attention from corruption in the North American nation, where drug trafficking and terrorism are part of its economic system.

“On behalf of President Nicolás Maduro Moros, we extend a cordial Bolivarian greeting to the foreign minister of the sister Republic of Cuba, Bruno Rodríguez. We thank you for your courageous statement of the vile actions of the U.S. Secretary of State, who tries to justify, through lies and absurd pretexts, an aggression against Venezuela and our free and sovereign people. This strategy seeks to divert attention from the corruption that permeates the United States Government, where drug trafficking and terrorism are its main drivers. Venezuela and Cuba will continue to defend the truth and the right to self-determination of our peoples,” Venezuelan Foreign Minister Yván Gil said on his Telegram account.
