The Minister of Popular Power for Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil, thanked Cuba for its support in the face of the “criminalizing narratives” promoted by the United States (USA) to justify aggression against the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.

Through his Telegram channel, the Venezuelan Foreign Minister also highlighted the Antillean Government's “insightful analysis” of the inconsistency of the US Administration in its alleged “war on drugs”, used as a pretext to undertake naval incursions into the Caribbean and threats against Venezuela.

In this regard, the diplomat recalled that “the United States continues to be the largest drug market in the region and, possibly, in the world, according to the Global Drug Report 2025 issued by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC)”.

The official also highlighted Cuba's support for the call to respect the Peace Zone of Latin America and the Caribbean in the face of “criminalizing narratives” directed against the Bolivarian Government and its people.

Faced with threats from the Donald Trump administration, which reflect historical patterns of foreign intervention, characterized by the imposition of false positives on different continents, various countries, political organizations and social movements have expressed support for Venezuela.
