Venezuela thanks Iran for its warning of increased US military deployment in the Caribbean

Venezuela, on behalf of the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, expresses its sincere gratitude to the Islamic Republic of Iran for its warning against the increased military deployment of the United States in the Caribbean and the consequences that this entails for our region.

This was highlighted in his account on the social network Telegram, by the Foreign Minister of the Republic, Yván Gil, referring to the warning of the spokesman for the Iranian Foreign Ministry about the consequences of US military movements in the Caribbean.

In that regard, Gil stressed: “We also recognize their constant solidarity with the Venezuelan people and their firm call to respect for the sovereignty of our nation.”

“This international support reinforces our commitment to defend the truth, as well as our legitimate right to self-defense and to the search for peace,” he emphasized.
