Venezuela was present at the Investment and Infrastructure Summit in India

The ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela accredited to the Republic of India, Capaya Rodríguez, participated in the Advantage Assam 2.0 Investment and Infrastructure Summit, held at Guwahati, as a platform for exploring opportunities for companies and investors.

Rodríguez thanked the Indian Foreign Minister, Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, and the company D.N. Media Group for the invitation to the event. He explained to the attending businessmen how Venezuela is experiencing a sustained economic recovery thanks to the measures implemented by the Bolivarian Government.

He also highlighted the importance of cooperation with India in different strategic areas, as well as the promotion of Venezuela's export capacity in areas such as cocoa, coffee, rum, shrimp, coke, metallurgical and chemical products, fertilizers, as well as oil and its derivatives.

Investors learned about the opportunities offered by Special Economic Zones, in addition to the main tourist attractions offered by Venezuela.
