Venezuela will denounce the militarization of the Caribbean and the genocide in Palestine to the UN

The foreign minister, Yván Gil, arrived in New York to participate in the 80th session of the General Assembly of the United Nations (UN), from where he will denounce the militarization of the Caribbean and the occupation and genocide in Palestine.

He reported this through a post on his Telegram channel, where he wrote that “we will raise our voice firmly in defense of the truth of Venezuela and of all peoples.”

According to a publication published by the Ministry of People's Power for Foreign Affairs, the foreign minister plans to hold bilateral meetings with representatives of other countries and multilateral agencies, in order to bring the truth about Venezuela to the world, as well as to denounce the Israeli genocide in Gaza and the US military operation in the Caribbean.

“We have an intense agenda of work, of defending peace, of sovereignty, of defending the Charter of the United Nations,” added the head of Venezuelan diplomatic relations.
