Venezuela will participate in the 27th edition of the International Frozen Seafood Fair

Venezuela will participate in the 27th edition of the International Frozen Seafood Fair (CONXEMAR), which will be held from October 6 to 8 in Vigo, Spain, with the objective of diversifying the national economy and capturing new markets in Europe.

The Venezuelan representation will be composed of a commission from the Ministry of Fisheries and Aquaculture, headed by the Deputy Minister of Fishery and Aquaculture Processing and Distribution, José G. Briceño. She is accompanied by the president of the Socialist Institute of Fisheries and Aquaculture (INSOPESCA), Jorge Taján; the director of International Strategic Development, Nerisa Colmenares; the commercial representative, Frank Sanoja, and the coordinator of Business Networks, Aura Flores.

The delegation has an exportable offer aimed at positioning the quality of Venezuelan marine products and consolidating commercial alliances, according to the ministry.

During the fair, the commission will hold business meetings and institutional meetings with wholesalers, importers, exporters, processors, distributors and service providers in the sector. The activities will take place at the Trade Fair Institute of Vigo (IFEVI).
