In view of Venezuela's participation in the Colombian Association of Travel and Tourism Agencies Fair (ANATO) 2026, the Minister of Popular Power for Tourism, Daniella Cabello, led a meeting with Tourism Service Providers, businessmen and trade union representatives.

According to information from the tourism portfolio, the objective of the meeting was to articulate a work plan to project the country as a destination for opportunities for alliances and the exchange of experiences.

Cabello emphasized the interest in consolidating the sector as an economic engine that diversifies supply. In addition, he stressed that ANATO is an ideal space to promote emerging destinations and attract foreign investment for infrastructure development.

For her part, the president of the Venezuelan Association of Travel and Tourism Agencies (AVAVIT), Vicky Herrera, valued the willingness of the authorities to work hand in hand with private unions. At the same time, he highlighted the importance of maintaining Venezuela's presence on the international stage.

From February 25 to 27, the Venezuelan delegation attends this showcase with the intention of strengthening ties of brotherhood and commercialization, with the New Granada country. At this meeting, a comprehensive agenda is defined that encompasses the promotion of the binational corridor for the development of birdwatching tourism.
