With a vision aimed at
economic growth and the consolidation of international alliances, Venezuela will participate
from January 21 to 25 in the 46th edition of the International Tourism Fair (FITUR)
in Madrid, Spain.
The national
delegation, led by the Minister of Popular Power for
Tourism, Leticia Gómez, will show the tourist offer of the Caribbean nation,
to strengthen the exchange of experience and peace diplomacy
promoted by the government of President Nicolás Maduro, according to a note from the Ministry for Tourism.
Representatives of the public and
private sectors, such as the Venezuelan Tourism Agency, the Venezuelan Association of Travel and Tourism
Agencies and the Venezuelan Association of Five
Star Hotels, also attend this showcase to strengthen cooperation that will
impact the revitalization of Motor Tourism.
This
synergy between the State and the business community seeks to attract
foreign investment, to raise quality standards in infrastructure and national
services, which guarantee the growth of the sector, new employment
opportunities and development for local communities.
Under the motto “Where
travel begins”, the FITUR in Madrid 2026 becomes the stage for productive
dialogue, with the participation of 156 nations and more than 190
corporations that reinforce regional integration.
