The Venezuelan representation continues to leave the country high in the current II Pan American Junior Sports Games Asunción 2025, which are held in the Paraguayan capital, where so far it has won the harvest of five gold, 10 silver and 13 bronze medals, for a total of 28 medals.

In the men's division, David García won gold in the 71 kilos division for Venezuela and the qualification for the Lima 2027 Pan American Games, after lifting 152 kg at the start, 155 in the envión for a total of 280 kilograms.

In karate, the martial artist Joaquín Sánchez won the gold in more than 84 kilos. “I prepared for eight months focusing on the National Institute (of Sports) of Venezuela, I went to different countries to do the previous competitions and reach these Pan American Games,” he said after winning the competition.

The also Venezuelan Darfel Parada in the 77 kilograms was left with the silver one after falling in the final against the American Aydin Rix 1-5. Another one who won the silver one was the young Luis Talavera (130 kg), after being beaten in the final against the gringo Aden Attao 3-1. In the same way, the boy Brian Ruiz at 87 kilos won bronze after beating Cuban Cristian Pelegrino 6-0 in his last fight.

In the skating industry, the Olympic winner Wilmary Toro has won the most medals in the Venezuelan games, a bronze medal being one. After finishing fourth in the women's 500 meters individual championship, Toro won the silver medal in the thousand meter individual sprint, and the bronze medal in the 200 meters against the finish line, he also had other outstanding performances in Pan-American skating.

In the same sport, figure skater Daniela Bustamante won bronze in the women's 5,000 meters for points, after accumulating 11 units in 25 laps.
