Venezuelan Ambassador meets with leader of the Palestine Liberation Organization

This Friday Ramzi Rabah, member of the Executive Committee and head of the Anti-Apartheid Department of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) delivered a letter of thanks to the Venezuelan ambassador, Maher Tah for the support of the Venezuelan people and Government for the Palestinian cause.

Rabah praised the relations between the two countries, the support that Venezuela provides for the cause of his nation and the position of solidarity with its people in the establishment of the independent Palestinian State, with Jerusalem as its capital.

Likewise, the senior diplomat condemned the policy of U.S. interference in the internal affairs of the South American nation.

For his part, Ambassador Taha explained the current situation in Venezuela, the depth of the historical relations that unite both nations and stressed that the Bolivarian Government of President Nicolás Maduro will provide all political support to Palestine, highlighting the need to put an end to Israeli aggression in the Gaza Strip.
