Venezuelan athlete Kerlys Montilla wins bronze at World Junior Weightlifting Championships

The Venezuelan athlete, Kerlys Montilla, won the bronze medal in the 49kg category of the Junior World Weightlifting Championship, which is held in the city of León, Spain from September 19 to 27.

The Venezuelan Kerlys managed to take home the bronze medal in the starting mode by lifting a total of 76kg.

Along with Kerlys, Claudia Rengifo and Keily Silva also represent Venezuela in this prestigious tournament in the women's category, and in the men's category, Ángelo Solorzano, Jéferson Gómez, Fabián Márquez, Reinner Arango and Ángel Rodríguez. The event brings together more than 350 participants from 80 nations.
