Venezuelan badminton team qualifies for the Dubai 2025 Beach World Cup

The mixed badminton delegation from Venezuela achieved a historic qualification for the first Dubai 2025 Beach World Cup, after obtaining the silver medal in the Pan American Championship of the discipline, held last April 12 and 13 in Lima, Peru.
The team, made up of promising young people between 16 and 20 years old, was composed of Mariangel García, Ángeles Rojas, Bárbara Lamas, Fabricio Rodríguez, Gustavo Albornoz and José Pereira. His performance included three resounding victories over Peru, El Salvador and Mexico, all with a score of 4-0, on loan only to Brazil in the final of the tournament.
The technical director of Fevebádminton, Jordan Martínez, emphasized that the team is part of a medium-term development plan, designed to empower emerging talent. Martínez especially valued competition against continent powers such as Mexico, Brazil and Peru, and emphasized the relevance of this triumph in consolidating Venezuela's competitive level in this modality.
