Venezuelan boxers Edmar Muñoz and Gabriel Marcano won bronze medals at the IV South American Youth Games Panama 2026.
Muñoz climbed to third place on the podium in the 60-kilogram category, after falling in the semifinals by 0-5 decision to Brazil's Maira Santos.
For his part, Marcano also won bronze in the 65-kilogram division, after being overtaken in the semifinals with a score of 0-5 by Colombian Stiven Galvis.
Venezuela is currently in third place in the medal table with 6 gold, 6 silver and 10 bronze medals. The first place is occupied by Brazil with 13 gold, 11 silver and 14 bronze, while Argentina is second with 8 gold, 8 silver and 7 bronze.
